DIN Event

DIN-Event GmbH is a regional event organiser and a 100% subsidiary company of the city of Dinslaken. In our main venues - the Kathrin-Türks-Halle and the Burgtheater - we organise a large number of events.

Over the years the open-air events, in particular, have developed into a real experience for visitors.

The DIN Arena takes place every year during the World Cup and European Football Championships. It shows the key matches of the German national football team in the Zechenwerkstatt, a building on the site of the former Lohberg colliery. To also reach the younger inhabitants of our city, we organise the Street Soccer Cup - in the middle of the city and just like "in the old days".

Other highlights are the three-day DIN Days. The lively weekend of events delights the people of Dinslaken with two stages and a wide variety of musical highlights.

Outstanding programmes are presented at the Extra-Schicht event night. International and local artists showcase their talent to our guests.

Despite Corona and a considerably restricted event industry, we managed to hold almost 50 events with our new format Summer Culture Dinslaken last year. The events took place in the Burgtheater, which offers with 1,630 seats plenty of space. Furthermore, its special charm makes, it one of the most unusual open-air venues in the Lower Rhine region.

In 2021, we will launch the street theatre formats Von Nord Nach West (From North to West) and Abfahrt Eins (Departure One) for the first time. They will be performed at various locations in the city, as part of a two-day street theatre festival.

From summer 2021 on, after almost five years of planning, reconstruction and renovation, we will perform on stage for the first time in the new Kathrin-Türks-Halle. The event hall captivates through an extravagant hall, rising seating and future-oriented event technology.

We look forward to your visit. In person and of course virtually in the Burgtheater, in the Kathrin-Türks-Halle or at one of our Open-Airs.
